Registered Nurse (RN) Full Time Nights

About the role

AMG Specialty Hospital - Albuquerque is offering a $15,000 Sign-On Bonus* for a Full-Time Registered Nurse, RN for Nights with ICU/Step-down experience!

Responsibilities

• Communicate with physicians, CCO/co-workers, as appropriate about changes in patient's clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.
• Handle medical conditions such as Respiratory Failure requiring ventilation, vapotherm, high flow, bipap, cpap, and nasal cannula.
• Manage sedation/pain management, pressor management, and cardiac/anti-arrhythmic management for complicated infections requiring long-term IV antibiotics.
• Manage chronic non-healing wounds requiring extensive treatment with wound vacs and frequent dressing changes.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse Licensure for the State of New Mexico.
• Acute care experience is preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Able to communicate effectively and positively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Qualifications

• Experience in a long-term acute care setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of specialized equipment and techniques used in long-term acute care settings.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Skills

• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to manage complex medical conditions.
• Proficiency with specialized medical equipment.
