About the role

Select Specialty Hospital is a critical illness recovery hospital dedicated to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients. RNs play a central role in delivering compassionate, excellent treatment throughout the recovery process.

Responsibilities

• Extensive and thorough orientation program to ensure a smooth transition into the setting.
• Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
• Timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems.
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Competence in Rapid Response and code events.
• Instruct and counsel patients/families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid State Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• BLS required at hire.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a valid RN license and BLS certification.
• Preferred qualifications include clinical experience.

Pay

• $37.00 - $49.80 per hour.
• Competitive shift differentials for nights and weekends.

Schedule

• Full-Time Nights (12-Hour Shifts).
