Registered Nurse - Full Time - Nights - Med/Surg - Sign On Bonus

Position Details
Maintains professional accountability for patient care and coordinates care across departments. Ensures patient rights are upheld and confidential information is protected.
Responsibilities
- Involves patients and significant others in care decisions.
- Affirms and documents educational needs and learning abilities during admissions and assessments.
- Communicates patient information effectively using SBAR and other tools.
- Maintains effective communication and participates in process improvement activities.
- Completes required competencies, in-services, and certifications.
- Shares professional literature and participates in professional growth activities.
- Participates in committees, special projects, and peer reviews.
- Delegates tasks to unlicensed health care providers and LPNs.
- Performs patient rounding and interprets diagnostic data.
- May take call or alternate shifts as needed.
Qualifications
- Graduated from a nursing program (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
- Obtained and maintained an RN license in the hiring state.
- Completed Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- Additional certifications may be required based on the position or department.
Physical Requirements
The role requires the ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly. It also involves prolonged standing, walking, gripping, reaching, bending, kneeling, twisting, and squatting.
