Registered Nurse (RN) - Full-Time Days

About the role

Northpoint Recovery Holdings, LLC is a leading behavioral healthcare provider that has grown from two facilities to seventeen across the Western U.S. since 2009. The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a crucial role in providing and overseeing medical services to patients, coordinating with the multidisciplinary team, and maintaining a safe and orderly environment.

Responsibilities

• Interact routinely with patients, observe behaviors, and communicate significant observations to the multidisciplinary team as necessary
• Administer medications to patients and engage in education processes
• Utilize de-escalation skills when dealing with volatile patients to ensure personal and patient safety
• Develop and implement admission, orientation, education, and discharge plans for patients, families, and others
• Communicate with the multidisciplinary treatment team to develop treatment plans and discharge planning
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment, reporting needs for repairs and maintenance to appropriate staff
• Obtain vital signs, monitor symptoms, and document in the patient record
• Participate in quality assurance and compliance activities
• Provide medical updates to utilization review and representatives of managed care
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures
• Maintain confidentiality in accordance with established policies and standards of care

Qualifications/Requirements

• Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state where services are rendered
• At least twenty-one (21) years of age
• National and state CPR/First Aid/AED certification
• Knowledge of computer and electronic medical records systems
• Enthusiasm, passion for working with people, and an internal drive to improve the lives of individuals in our care
• Ability to work with a diverse population and maintain strong personal boundaries
• Demonstrated ability to hold strong personal boundaries and build rapport with patients
• Understanding and adherence to ethical standards of the respective licensure governing board
