The RN Clinical Charge Nurse oversees daily unit operations, ensuring the safe and high-quality delivery of patient care. Responsibilities Include Leading interdisciplinary teams, managing staff schedules, and ensuring resource availability.Monitoring patient care quality through rounds and overseeing the nursing process to deliver individualized, evidence-based care.Facilitating effective communication among team members, patients, and families, and maintaining interprofessional collaboration.Supporting performance improvement initiatives, promoting safety standards, and participating in research and evidence-based practices.Mentoring and precepting staff to foster professional development and ensure a competent workforce.Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational policies, including patient safety goals. Qualifications And Skills Current licensure as a registered nurse, with knowledge of nursing practice standards and ethics.Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.Ability to manage clinical operations, resource planning, and staff development.Proficiency in evidence-based practice, quality improvement, and patient safety standards.Experience in a clinical setting, preferably in emergency or acute care environments.
