Registered Nurse (RN) - Full-Time 12-Hour Day Shift

About the Role

Responsible for assessing residents' health, educational, and environmental needs, developing and updating individualized care plans, and ensuring safe, timely delivery of nursing interventions. Communicates effectively with the interdisciplinary team, residents, and families, documenting assessments and care activities accurately. Monitors residents' conditions, responds to changes with critical thinking, and utilizes QAPI processes for problem resolution. Provides direct resident care, including assistance with ADLs, and maintains professional knowledge of nursing practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' health, educational, and environmental needs
• Develop and revise individualized care plans
• Execute safe and timely nursing interventions
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members, residents, and families
• Document all assessments and care activities accurately
• Monitor residents' conditions and respond to changes with critical thinking
• Utilize QAPI processes for problem resolution
• Provide direct resident care, including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Participate in ongoing training to maintain professional nursing knowledge

Requirements

• Registered nurse with an accredited nursing education
• Current nursing license in the state
• CPR/AED certification (or willing to obtain within six months)
• Critical thinking and excellent communication skills
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and safely transfer residents weighing over 200 lbs
• Manual dexterity, visual acuity, and proficiency in electronic and written documentation

Qualifications

Preferred experience in a long-term care setting.
