Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process while delivering, directing, and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit.
• Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care, including interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post‑hospitalization, and accessing community resources.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including serving as Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).

Requirements

• Hold a current RN license in the state where the hospital resides (or compact licensure if the state participates).
• Maintain current BLS certification (AHA‑approved).
• Obtain ACLS certification within 90 days of employment (AHA‑approved); current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurse roles.
• One year of inpatient medical‑surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.
