Registered Nurse (RN) FT Days
About the role
AMG Specialty Hospital - Albuquerque is seeking Full Time Registered Nurses (RN) for Days with ICU/Step-down experience. You will communicate with physicians, CCO/co-workers, and others about changes in patient's clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.
Commonly treated medical conditions include:
- Respiratory failure requiring ventilation, vapotherm, high flow, BiPAP, CPAP, and nasal cannula (may involve sedation/pain management, pressor management, and cardiac/anti-arrhythmic management)
- Complicated infections requiring long-term IV antibiotics
- Chronic non-healing wounds requiring extensive treatment with wound vacs and frequent dressing changes
RNs will be responsible for direct and indirect patient care in the long-term acute care setting.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Registered Nurse Licensure for the State of New Mexico
- Acute care experience is preferred
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Able to communicate effectively and positively in English, both verbally and in writing
