Registered Nurse (RN) for School Nursing or Bus Rides

About the role

Join Interim HealthCare as a school-based Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in New Jersey, providing medical support to students who need extra care. Assignments include:

• Bus Transportation Nurse (RN & LPN): Provide care and supervision for one or more students during school bus transportation.
• Substitute School Nurse (RN): Support students in the school health office during the school day. Assignments vary in length, from a few days to a full school year, offering flexibility to match your availability.
• One-on-One (1:1) School Nurse (RN): Accompany a specific student throughout the school day.
• Field Trips & Special Events (RN & LPN): Support students during off-campus activities and transportation.

Work on your terms with flexible scheduling options:

• Morning or afternoon shifts
• One day a week or five days a week
• School-year schedule
• Per diem flexibility

Requirements

• Active New Jersey RN or LPN license
• Pediatric experience (required)
• 1+ year of skilled nursing experience (preferred)
• Current CPR certification
• Reliable transportation
