Registered Nurse (RN) – Float Pool (Nights)

Join a dynamic float pool as a Registered Nurse supporting multiple inpatient units across two Magnet®-recognized hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care with a focus on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Promoting patient and family-centered care, education on illness management, and post-treatment needs.
• Participating in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Developing and documenting individualized care plans in collaboration with the care team and patients.
• Using critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and barriers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of acute care experience.
• RN license required; BSN preferred.
• Experience in ICU, Emergency Department, or Medical Telemetry is desirable.

Skills

• Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, NIHSS/PALS preferred.
• Strong IV therapy and telemetry interpretation skills.
• Ability to work safely and maintain alertness in a fast-paced environment.
