Registered Nurse (RN) Float Pool
About the role
Join our team where you will provide compassionate care to patients alongside a dedicated team of Registered Nurses (RNs). You will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Responsibilities
- Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
- Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
- Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
- Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
- Completes and revises the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
- Performs timely and accurate Quality Improvement (QI) assessments
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Current state RN license
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school
- Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire
- ACLS and PALS certifications within six months of hire
- One year of experience preferred
- ASLS certification preferred
Qualifications
Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include: Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire. ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire. One year of experience preferred ASLS certification preferred.
Skills
Accurately performs patient assessments, identifies patient needs, initiates appropriate nursing interventions, provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient, documents medical necessity, completes and revises the Interdisciplinary Care Plan, performs QI assessments, and performs other duties as assigned.
