About the role

We are offering a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 for experienced RNs - Night Shift. The Emergency Department at West Boca Medical Center in Boca Raton is looking for experienced Emergency Room RNs and experienced acute care nurses who want to grow their careers in Emergency Nursing. Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective nursing care to all patients (Adult and Pediatric) utilizing the nursing process at West Boca Medical Center and off-site at West Boca Emergency Center.
• Direct and supervise assigned personnel delivering patient care.
• Administer and perform specialized nursing care according to assigned unit and treatment for patients.
• Review orders/test results and document care delivered accurately and timely in the electronic health record.

Requirements

• Current Florida RN License.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certification (American Heart Association).
• TNCC, CEN, ENPC - preferred.
• Minimum: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Preferred: BSN.
• Minimum: 24 months Med/Surg experience and successful and/or critical care experience. Completion of a critical care training program preferred.
• Minimum 2 years licensed nursing practice in an Emergency Dept preferred.
• Adult and Pediatric Emergency experience preferred.
• Successful completion of WBMC Medication test.
• Successful completion of unit-specific test.
• Demonstrates yearly competencies specific to unit.
