About the role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Endoscopy for a full‑time, ongoing position in a collaborative outpatient setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high‑quality nursing care throughout all phases of the endoscopy patient experience, including pre‑procedure assessment, intra‑procedure support, and post‑procedure recovery.
- Administer and monitor medications and moderate sedation according to established protocols.
- Assess and respond to changes in patient condition during procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Educate patients and families on procedures, discharge instructions, medications, and follow‑up care.
- Maintain accurate documentation using electronic medical records.
Qualifications and Skills
- Active RN license (Maryland or Compact).
- BLS certification (required); ACLS certification required within 12 months of hire.
- Previous RN experience, preferably in Endoscopy, PACU, GI Lab, Critical Care, or Emergency settings.
- Strong assessment, communication, and patient‑education skills.
