Registered Nurse RN - Emergency ED

Part-time position scheduled for 24 hours per week, primarily on the night shift (7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.), with every other weekend and holiday rotation. Occasional opportunities for alternative 12-hour shift assignments may be available based on department needs.

About the role

The Registered Nurse at Trinity Health Ann Arbor (THAA) Emergency Department (ED) provides care in a 54-bed Level 1 Trauma ER that treats over 90,000 patients annually. The ED offers a fast-paced, high-acuity environment requiring strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and teamwork.

Requirements

• Current Michigan Nursing License
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Nurses without a BSN must commit in writing to complete the degree within five years of hire

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, develop, evaluate, and modify care plans under limited supervision
• Interpret and perform complex patient-care procedures specific to expertise
• Function as a team member to accomplish patient outcomes identified in the pathway/plan of care
• Provide professional care to a group of patients for a designated time frame using the nursing process, environment/technology, and healthcare team members
• Serve patients of all age groups (Infant through Older Adults)
