Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Dept (ED / ER) Full Time, Day (9A-9P)

Trinitas Regional Medical Center ER is a state-of-the-art facility that recently underwent an $18.7 million renovation, expanding treatment beds from 27 to 45. The renovation includes highly personalized care areas for families, seniors, and behavioral patients, a 128-slice CT scanner, and an onsite ultrasound suite for faster, more detailed diagnoses. As a full-service institution, Trinitas provides a complete range of services, including general, pediatric, and obstetric care.

Schedule

• Full Time, Day Shift: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
• Monday – Friday, with every other weekend and holiday rotation

Pay

$46.90 - $63.09 per hour. The compensation offered will depend on the candidate's educational background, skills, and professional experience.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN License or approved RN license required
• ASN or BSN required
• AHA BLS certification required prior to start date
• Previous ER experience preferred; previous Med Surg, Telemetry, or acute care experience required
• ER Certifications and/or national nursing certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Organizes and administers individualized, age-specific professional care to patients within the Emergency Department
• Supports the philosophy, objectives, mission, and vision of Trinitas Regional Medical Center and the Department of Nursing
• Practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses, Department of Health Regulations, TJC requirements, and other regulatory agencies
• Participates in patient teaching and discharge planning
• Engages in unit Performance Improvement evaluation activities
