About the role
Banner Ironwood Medical Center, located in Queen Creek, Arizona, is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department. The position offers a competitive compensation package including an 18% night shift differential and a flat rate $3/hour weekend shift differential.
Responsibilities
- Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards.
- Plans and coordinates care for patients with diverse physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs.
- Delegates tasks to other healthcare professionals and supervises their work.
- Evaluates patient progress and effectiveness of teaching.
- Promotes continuity of care by communicating patient status to other healthcare providers.
- Documents assessments, plans, implementation, and evaluations in the patient record.
- Communicates effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Provides spiritual support to patients and families as needed.
Requirements
- Current, valid RN license in state of practice.
- BLS certification.
- One year experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
- Experience in the clinical area for which the applicant is applying is desired.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
- Professional certification preferred.
Skills

- Knowledge of trauma care and pediatric care.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Pay

Schedule
