Responsibilities

  • Deliver Evidence-Based Care: Provide compassionate, direct nursing care that adheres meticulously to the established clinical protocols, policies, and procedures of our organization, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality.
  • Drive Care Plan Success: Take ownership of individualized patient care plans, actively implementing and continuously monitoring progress to ensure treatment goals are being met and care is personalized.
  • Be the Clinical Watchdog: Maintain essential vigilance by monitoring, accurately recording, and promptly communicating any pertinent changes in a patient’s condition to the interdisciplinary team.
  • Execute with Precision: Meticulously receive, document, and carry out all physician and nursing orders to guarantee the timely, safe, and effective delivery of all directed medical and therapeutic interventions.
  • Orchestrate Holistic Care: Step into the vital role of the primary coordinator, serving as the central hub of communication to integrate all disciplines—from physicians to therapists—for a truly unified and well-coordinated patient care experience.
  • Facilitate Safe Transitions: Lead the strategic assessment and coordination of patient's discharge planning needs, collaborating with the healthcare team to prepare and implement a seamless, safe, and supportive transition plan for the patient's next stage of recovery or care.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • One or more of the following required:
    • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
    • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.
