Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department, providing high-quality, safe, patient-centered care in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practices and critical thinking.
• Deliver relationship-based, culturally competent care tailored to patient populations.
• Partner with patients and families through effective communication and education, prioritizing patient goals.
• Coordinate and document safe, quality care while fostering teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Support performance improvement initiatives, research, and evidence-based practice activities.
• Mentor and serve as a preceptor to other nurses and healthcare staff, promoting professional development.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to protocol development and resource management to optimize patient outcomes.

Deliver comprehensive emergency nursing care, participate in quality improvement, mentor colleagues, and adhere to safety and ethical standards, ensuring optimal patient outcomes in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associates or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelor's preferred.
• Current RN license (single-state or multi-state compact).
• Certifications: BLS, PALS, TNCC, ACLS (all required upon hire).
• Minimum of 5 years RN experience in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in technology, critical thinking, and emergency response.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work collaboratively.
