Registered Nurse (RN) - Weekend Option - Emergency Department

Role Overview The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department provides high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care as a proactive team member within an interdisciplinary environment. They perform comprehensive nursing assessments, develop individualized care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions, ensuring cultural sensitivity and patient involvement. Collaborating with team members, they promote safe practices, documentation accuracy, and performance improvement initiatives. The RN mentors colleagues, supports research activities, and participates in protocol development to optimize patient outcomes. Adherence to professional standards, organizational policies, and safety protocols is essential. Qualifications & Skills Associates or Diploma in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred) Valid RN license (single state or multi-state compact) Certifications: BLS, PALS, TNCC, ACLS (all required upon hire) Minimum 5 years RN experience Strong communication, critical thinking, time management, and teamwork skills Ability to operate technology effectively and respond decisively in emergencies Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice
