About the Role

Registered Nurse opportunities at Trinity Health Ann Arbor (THAA) Emergency Department (ED). This is a full-time position scheduled for 40 hours per week, with four 10-hour day shifts from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., including every other weekend and holiday rotation. The THAA ED is a 54-bed Level 1 Trauma ER providing comprehensive emergency care to over 90,000 patients annually. The role offers a fast-paced, high-acuity environment requiring strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and teamwork. New graduates are encouraged to apply, with structured support for transitioning into emergency care.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients and develop, evaluate, and modify care plans.
  • Interpret and perform complex patient-care procedures specific to expertise.
  • Function as a team member to accomplish patient outcomes identified in the pathway/plan of care.
  • Provide care to patients of all age groups (Infant through Older Adults) via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, environment/technology, and other healthcare team members.

Requirements

  • Current Michigan Nursing License.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Commitment to obtaining a BSN within five years of hire for nurses without a BSN.

Qualifications

  • Strong interest in emergency nursing.
  • Prior ED or high-acuity clinical experience preferred.
