Registered Nurse RN Emergency
Part-time, 12-hour night shift position in the Emergency Department at Chelsea Hospital.

The Registered Nurse provides quality patient-centered care considering age-specific, developmental, cultural, and spiritual needs through competent clinical practice and application of the nursing process. They integrate concepts of relationship-based care into practice and serve as a clinical and educational resource to others on the unit.
About the Department
Our Chelsea Emergency Department has experienced physicians and nurses with advanced training in emergency medicine, providing care 365 days a year. More than 18,000 patients are treated annually for emergencies ranging from life-threatening cardiac arrests and strokes to major injuries and minor ailments. Facilities include a five-bay observation center and 20 private exam rooms.
Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care using the nursing process.
- Integrate relationship-based care principles into clinical practice.
- Serve as a clinical and educational resource for unit staff.
Requirements
- Current Michigan Nursing License.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- BSN degree required for new hires or agreement to obtain within five years.
- Experienced nurses preferred.
Canadian Nurses are encouraged to apply.
Schedule
- Shift: 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM.
- Status: Part-time, benefit-eligible (48 hours per pay period, every two weeks).
- Every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation required.
