About the role
The Dialysis Registered Nurse at PAM Health is responsible for:
- Utilizing the nursing process
- Delivering, directing, and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit
- Interdisciplinary planning
- Discharge planning
- Patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization
- Accessing community resources
- Serving as Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required)
Responsibilities
The Dialysis Registered Nurse oversees dialysis treatments required by patients suffering from acute or chronic kidney failure as ordered by physicians.
Requirements
- RN License in the state you are applying
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification is preferred initially and required after 90 days of employment
- ACLS is REQUIRED from day 1 for all Charge Nurses, High Obs, and ICU
- Certification through the Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission (NNCC) is preferred but not required
