Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit.
- Plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources.
Requirements
- RN License in the state you are applying
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification is preferred initially and required after 90 days of employment.
Qualifications
- Certification through the Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission (NNCC) is preferred but not required.
Skills
May Perform Other Related Duties As Assigned Or Requested, Including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).
Lead Dialysis Nurses
Lead Dialysis Nurses are responsible for overseeing dialysis treatments required by patients suffering from acute or chronic kidney failure as ordered by physicians.
