About the role

Select Specialty Hospital is a critical illness recovery hospital dedicated to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronically ill patients. Registered Nurses (RNs) are integral in delivering compassionate, high-quality care throughout the recovery process.

Responsibilities

• Extensive and thorough orientation program to facilitate a smooth transition into the hospital setting.
• Participate in clinical ladder program and pursue certifications like PCCN and CCRN to advance career.
• Take on responsibilities including initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments, timely documentation, interpreting diagnostic data, ensuring medical orders are processed accurately, and managing rapid response and code events.
• Provide instruction and counseling to patients and families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid State Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• BLS certification at hire.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of acute care nursing experience preferred.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in medical terminology and procedures.
