Registered Nurse (RN) - Days

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at South Sound Behavioral Hospital. Our hospital offers 100% employer-paid benefits or an additional pay option if you prefer. Additionally, there's an opportunity for a monthly bonus up to $9,000 annually.

Responsibilities

• Assess, coordinate, and evaluate patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members using the nursing process and the standards of care.
• Offer direct and indirect care to patients, families, and legal guardians.
• Utilize the nursing process in alignment with SSBH's philosophy, objectives, values, mission, and core principles.
• Create and implement tailored goals and interventions based on patient strengths and psychiatric challenges, collaborating with the multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Ensure a safe therapeutic environment grounded in our core values.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing.
• Able to produce a valid Washington State RN license.
• At least three years’ experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility.
• Exceptional crisis management and time management skills.
• Flexibility and creativity to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• A calm, organized, and professional demeanor in stressful situations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.

Skills

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of psychiatric nursing practices and procedures.

Pay

The expected compensation for this full-time role is $40.00 - $55.00 hourly, plus an additional $9,000 retention bonus annually.

Schedule

This is a full-time position.
