About the Team
Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital featuring a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU.
Responsibilities
- Provide episodic care to patients for 24 hours or less as a specialized ambulatory care nurse in various settings.
- Care for patients before and after same-day surgery and those undergoing outpatient procedures.
- Use cost-effective methods to assist patients in promoting health, preventing disease, and managing chronic or acute health problems.
- Promote self-management and assist family members or friends in caring for their loved ones.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
- 1+ years’ experience working as a Medical Surgical Nurse.
- New Jersey RN license.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
Qualifications
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree of Science in Nursing.
Pay
Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
