Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Shift

About the role

The Crisis Recovery Center at Riveon Mental Health and Recovery transforms crisis care by offering 24/7 walk-in behavioral health services. This position operates on 12-hour shifts and is based in Lorain.

Responsibilities

• Works closely with physicians or nurse practitioners regarding client care and medication management.
• Makes physical and mental health assessments, obtains vital signs, and administers medication.
• Facilitates group and clinic sessions to promote physical and mental health.
• Administers urine drug screenings and breathalyzer tests.
• Communicates with case managers, counselors, and other team members to ensure proper care coordination.
• Ensures compliance with state and center medication regulations.
• Supports Trauma Informed Care practices and collaborates with clients and team members.

Requirements

• Valid Ohio state license as an RN.
• Experience in behavioral healthcare is preferred.
• Computer skills including familiarity with Windows and Word applications.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
• Favorable references and/or evaluations are required.
• Training in trauma-informed and/or trauma-specific services is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 10 pounds.
• Must be able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to sit for extended periods and operate required equipment.
