Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
  • Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel in the Custody Unit.
  • Maintain standards of care and accountability for assigned patients.
  • Communicate with physicians about changes in patient clinical condition, including cardiac monitoring, diagnostic study results, and symptomatology.
  • Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition and treatment responses.

Requirements

  • Current and valid state RN License.
  • Current BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintained thereafter.
  • NHISS (Stroke Scale) certification within 60 days of hire and maintained thereafter.
  • Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
  • Ventilator Management experience preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Pay

The current compensation range for this role is $48.24 to $66.50 per hour. The exact starting compensation will be determined based on factors such as skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.

Schedule

Full Time, Night Shift.
