Position Highlights
Monday-Friday 7:00am-5:00pm; 48hrs/2wks

What you will do
- Reviews physician prescriptions
- Communicates the nursing care plan and all pertinent information to other members of the health care team
- Counsels patients, families, and friends on condition, medications, and self-care skills
- Answers questions and provides information and resources
Develops nursing care plans
- Obtains medical histories
- Examines patients
- Documents patient physical condition, psychological status, and influencing social factors
- Confers with family and friends
- Develops a nursing diagnosis
- Establishes nursing care objectives
- Defines nursing interventions, schedules, and timetables
Evaluates patient care
- Adheres to therapeutic standards
- Maintains safe, secure, and healthy patient care environment
- Measures health outcomes against patient care standards
- Notes changing conditions and needs
- Re-evaluates care objectives
- Modifies nursing care plan
Maintains patient care equipment and supplies
- Follows operating instructions and established procedures
- Troubleshoots breakdowns
- Maintains supplies
- Performs preventive maintenance
- Calls for repairs
- Stocks items
Essential Qualifications
- The individual must be able to work the hours specified
- Must have visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
- Must be able to communicate effectively with others
- Must be able to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds
Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Board of Nursing
- An active license in the state of practice
Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience
- 1-3 years Experience working in a clinical environment
