Responsibilities
- Provides direct patient care, including medication administration such as injectable contraception, extended-release buprenorphine, and vaccines.
- Coordinates patient care during clinic visits.
- Addresses barriers to treatment and facilitates referrals and connections to community resources.
- Collaborates with recovery residences, supervised withdrawal facilities, behavioral health providers, primary care practices, and other support services as needed.
- Works closely with the provider and interdisciplinary support staff during Monday clinic sessions to ensure patients receive comprehensive, coordinated, and patient-centered care.
Requirements
- Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required.
- Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
- One year of recent RN experience required.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
