Registered Nurse (RN) - Clinical Support Team (Float Pool)

$20,000 SIGN ON BONUS AVAILABLE
USD $30.23/Hr. Max USD $48.37/Hr.

Responsibilities

• Utilize a wide array of skills across a variety of units and partner with multiple teams.
• Provide coverage on a variety of Springfield Memorial Hospital (SMH) units.
• Delegation, supervision, and provision of nursing care for a designated group of patients through the nursing process.
• Age-appropriate care and participation in research when appropriate.
• Incorporate research findings into evidence-based clinical practice.
• Contribute to quality improvement processes.
• Adequately adhere to SMH Mission, Vision, and Values, the Nursing Division Mission, Vision, and Philosophy, the ANA Code of Ethics, and the Illinois Nursing Act.

Qualifications

• Licensed as RN in State of Illinois.
• Current BLS/CPR certification per policy.
• Able to position and/or transfer an average adult patient.
• Able to withstand prolonged periods of standing.
• Able to perform difficult manipulative skills such as IV insertion and IM injections.

Schedule

Flexible scheduling with the choice of 8 or 12 hour shifts and every third weekend.
