Registered Nurse (RN) Clinic

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our clinic, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care. This position is part of Ashley Regional, a facility within Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network committed to making communities healthier.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient's condition and nursing care needs.
• Set goals and prescribe appropriate nursing interventions to meet physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs of patients.
• Develop individual nursing care plans and implement them, making revisions as needed.
• Evaluate patient care outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and other hospital employees.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies.
• Communicate with patients and oversee the provision of care.
• Provide patients and/or family with instruction and education relevant to their condition.
• Accurately document nursing observations, assessments, medications, treatments, and other care given.
• Maintain facility equipment, supplies, and work areas.
• Assist in the orientation of new employees.
• Coordinate and supervise activities of employees and department operations.
• Participate in performance and process improvement activities.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• 1 year or less of experience.
• BCLS certification upon completion of hospital orientation.
• ACLS and PALS certifications within six months of hire or transfer date to position.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.

• Repetitive motion of the upper body required for extended use of a computer.

• Works in well-lit, ventilated, and climate-controlled office environments with routine office equipment; some equipment has moving mechanical parts.
• In a hospital environment, may be exposed to hazards and unusual elements, including but not limited to bloodborne pathogens, contagious illnesses, toxic chemicals, and biohazardous materials, which may require extensive safety precautions and the use of protective equipment.
• Noise level in the work environment is typical for an office and/or hospital setting.
• Minimum overnight travel (up to 10%) by land and/or air.
