Role: The RN Clinical Periop Nurse provides high-quality, safe, and individualized patient care within a multidisciplinary team. They perform the nursing process, partner with patients and families, and ensure adherence to clinical standards and ethical practices. Responsibilities: Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes using evidence-based practices. Promote relationship-based, culturally sensitive, patient-centered care. Collaborate with team members through effective communication and documentation. Support performance improvement initiatives, participate in research, and serve as a preceptor or mentor to peers. Develop protocols to optimize patient outcomes and ensure resource efficiency.Qualifications: Requires a diploma or BSN from an accredited program, valid RN license (single-state or multi-state compact), and Basic Life Support certification. Must have at least 5 years of direct patient care experience. Additional certifications in BLS and instructor credentials are preferred.Skills: Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, communication, and commitment to professional development. Ability to uphold organizational policies, participate in quality improvement, and support a respectful, inclusive environment.
