About the role
Provide high-quality, safe, patient-centered perioperative care in the operating room by performing assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation based on evidence-based standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, partner with patients and families, support performance improvement initiatives, serve as a preceptor or mentor, promote research and best practices, and ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized perioperative care
- Coordinate patient safety and clinical protocols
- Participate in the development and refinement of care protocols
- Support resource management and operational efficiency
- Uphold professional standards in a dynamic clinical environment
Requirements
- Valid RN license (single or multi-state compact)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum five years of direct patient care experience
- Ability to practice according to the Georgia Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Diploma in Nursing (preferred)
- Strong teamwork, communication, and critical thinking skills
