Registered Nurse ( RN ) Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

About the Unit

11-bed unit serving 11–17 year-olds, staffed with RNs and psychiatric counselors. The program is heavily based on family therapy and operates as a highly functional, autonomous team. Cross-training opportunities to the Psychiatric ED and Adult Inpatient Psychiatric unit are available.

Schedule

Part-time nights: two 12-hour shifts per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex.
• Assess evolving patient conditions and identify actual and potential health concerns.
• Develop appropriate care plans.
• Deliver interventions directly or coordinate through collaboration with other members of the nursing team.

Requirements

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Prior clinical nursing experience preferred.
• Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN License required.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (AHA or American Red Cross) required.

Pay

Hiring range: USD $36.50 – USD $60.34 per hour.
