Registered Nurse ( RN ) Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

About the role

11‑bed unit serving 11‑17 year‑olds, staffed with RNs and psychiatric counselors, heavily based on family therapy, highly functional and autonomous team, with cross‑training to Psychiatric ED and Adult Inpatient Psychiatric unit. Available role: PT Nights (two 12‑hour shifts per week).

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex.
• Assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans.
• Deliver interventions directly or coordinate through collaboration with other members of the nursing team.

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required
• Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred
• Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross)

Pay

This position has a hiring range of USD $36.50 - USD $60.34 per hour.
