Registered Nurse (RN), Cath Lab - Day Shift - $20K Sign on Bonus Opportunity

Overview: $20,000 sign-on bonus available for this full-time, day-shift position (three 12-hour shifts with on-call).

About the Role

The Full-Time Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) works in fast-paced multidisciplinary teams performing vascular diagnostic and interventional, coronary diagnostic and interventional, and structural heart procedures. The role also includes high-acuity electrophysiology studies, ablations, and permanent pacemaker/ICD device implants.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate nursing care through utilization of the nursing process.
• Delegate, supervise, and provide nursing care for a designated group of patients.
• Participate in research when appropriate and incorporate findings into evidence-based clinical practice.

Professional Nursing Care

• Perform age-appropriate assessments.

• Appropriately supervise performance of LPNs and unlicensed assistive personnel.
• Direct performance improvement for LPNs and unlicensed assistive personnel.
• Build teamwork when supervising and delegating to others.

Requirements

• Licensed as RN in the State of Illinois.
• Current BLS/CPR certification per policy.

Skills

• Ability to position and/or transfer an average adult patient and possess gross coordination sufficient to perform other patient care duties.
• Ability to withstand prolonged periods of standing.
• Ability to perform difficult manipulative skills such as IV insertion and IM injections.

Working Conditions

• Exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and tissue.
• Exposure to contagious diseases and/or radioactive or other potentially hazardous materials.

Pay

Hourly rate: $30.23 - $48.37.

Schedule

Full-time, day shift (three 12-hour shifts with on-call).
