Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiothoracic Stepdown

About the role

Join our interdisciplinary team in the 16-bed Cardiothoracic Stepdown unit at Lankenau Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will care for the Cardiothoracic Stepdown patient population, playing an integral role in their treatment and overall patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to Cardiothoracic Stepdown patients.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver personalized care plans.
• Participate in hospital and system-wide nursing committees, unit councils, and evidence-based research projects.
• Precept new staff and pursue opportunities within the Clinical Ladder program.

Requirements

• One year of recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown Nurse experience.
• RN Diploma or ASN (BSN preferred).
• PA RN license or a multi-state license verified in an approved Nursing Licensure Compact state.
• Provider BLS certification (American Heart Association/American Red Cross preferred).

Schedule

36 hours per week, with options for:

• Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), or
• Day/Night Rotation (candidate’s choice).

Weekend rotation required.
