About the role
Join our interdisciplinary team in the 16-bed Cardiothoracic Stepdown unit at Lankenau Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will care for the Cardiothoracic Stepdown patient population, playing an integral role in their treatment and overall patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to Cardiothoracic Stepdown patients.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver personalized care plans.
- Participate in hospital and system-wide nursing committees, unit councils, and evidence-based research projects.
- Precept new staff and pursue opportunities within the Clinical Ladder program.
Requirements
- One year of recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown Nurse experience.
- RN Diploma or ASN (BSN preferred).
- PA RN license or a multi-state license verified in an approved Nursing Licensure Compact state.
- Provider BLS certification (American Heart Association/American Red Cross preferred).

Schedule
36 hours per week, with options for:
- Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), or
- Day/Night Rotation (candidate’s choice).
Weekend rotation required.
