Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiology - Hourly Rate

About the role

Provides specialized nursing care to cardiac patients in a high-risk unit, focusing on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family-centered care
• Educates on illness management
• Ensures safety and quality compliance
• Develops and documents individualized care plans
• Evaluates physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs
• Uses critical nursing skills and communicates effectively across care teams

Qualifications & Skills

• RN license required
• Nursing diploma or associate's degree; BSN preferred
• Experience in telemetry or cardiac care advantageous
• Familiarity with the BJC RN Career Ladder advantageous
• Must work safely and be alert in a safety-sensitive environment

Pay

Competitive pay with shift differentials and a sign-on bonus.

Schedule

Night shifts in the High Risk Cardiac unit.
