About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN Cardiac Stepdown for a local contract nursing job in Peoria, Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to patients requiring cardiac stepdown monitoring
- Assess and document patient conditions
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Monitor and report patient progress to healthcare providers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
- Experience in cardiac stepdown care preferred
- Knowledge of cardiac stepdown protocols and procedures
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in computer systems and documentation software
