About the role
Join the Cardiology team at Pen Bay Hospital as a full-time, 40-hour Registered Nurse and become part of a collaborative team dedicated to providing exceptional cardiovascular care to the Mid Coast Maine community.
Responsibilities
- Partner with cardiologists, advanced practice providers, medical assistants, and support staff to deliver comprehensive care for patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions.
- Play an essential role in coordinating care, educating patients and families, triaging clinical concerns, assisting with diagnostic testing and procedures, and helping patients manage both acute and chronic cardiac conditions.
- Enjoy a predictable weekday schedule M-F 8:00-5:00, allowing for an excellent work-life balance while continuing to expand your cardiovascular nursing knowledge and clinical expertise.
Requirements
- One year of recent RN experience required.
- Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required.
- Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
