Registered Nurse (RN) Cardiology Ambulatory Outpatient Office Practice FT Days
Job Overview
The Cardiology Ambulatory RN provides comprehensive nursing care for patients in the outpatient cardiology clinic, supporting individuals with a range of cardiovascular conditions including coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, heart failure, and post-interventional follow-up. The RN collaborates closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, diagnostic staff, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to coordinate and deliver patient-centered care.
Qualifications
- Current NJ RN license
- Graduate of an accredited NLN Nursing program
- BSN Degree
- Minimum three (3) years of nursing experience, with at least 1- 2 years in cardiology, telemetry, or critical care preferred
- Current BLS Certification required
- Strong cardiovascular assessment and patient triage skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in ambulatory/outpatient services preferred
- Ability to manage and provide safe nursing care in a high volume practice and demonstrates a positive, professional manner.
Scheduling Requirement
Monday thru Friday (3) days per week flexible hours 8A-4P
Full-time 37.5 hours per week
No weekends, no major holidays

Essential Functions
Organizes and administers individualized age specific professional care to patients within the Department of Surgery setting. Provides nursing care as directed by medical staff and in accordance with the objectives, policies and procedures of the hospital and the State Nurse Practice Act. Maintains the standard of nursing care as established. Participates in patient teaching and discharge planning. Participates in unit performance Improvement evaluation activities. Uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patient's age specific needs and to provide age specific treatment. Performs all other duties as assigned
