Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Telemetry
Full-time, benefits-eligible position at High Point Medical Center.
About the Role
Cardiac Telemetry is an 18-bed intermediate care unit that provides care to patients with a cardiac focus. This unit monitors patient cardiac rhythms and serves a cardiac population including heart failure, post pacemaker insertion, post cardiac catheterization with intervention, post ablation, BiPAP, occasional tracheostomy, post-op carotid endarterectomy, and post-op CABG. It also cares for intermediate patients transferred from the Medical and Cardiac ICUs.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Greater than 1 year of RN experience (RNs with less than 1 year of RN experience should apply to openings with “New Graduate RN” in the posting title)
Responsibilities
As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will:
- Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures
- Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skilled communication to lead efforts in creating the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum

Pay
Pay range: $38.20 - $57.30 per hour.
Schedule
- 36 hours per week
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 3 x 12-hour shifts weekly
- Weekend and holiday rotation
