Registered Nurse (RN) Cardiac Step Down Part Time Days

Location: 201 Lyons Avenue, Newark, NJ 07112-2027

Part-time, 25 hours per week. Every other weekend required; weekday schedule varies based on department needs.

The Professional Registered Nurse provides quality nursing care in collaboration with medical staff and within the guidelines of the New Jersey State Nurse Practice Act. The role involves implementing the hospital’s mission and goals through established policies, procedures, and performance improvement activities. Nurses organize and administer individualized, age-specific professional nursing care to patients within an assigned unit, incorporating principles of growth and development to assess and address patient needs.

Requirements

• Active NJ RN License or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.

Pay

Anticipated hourly wage range: $47.85 - $66.05 per hour for candidates hired to work in New Jersey. Compensation depends on educational background, skills, and professional experience.
