Registered Nurse (RN) / Cardiac Rehab (Per Diem)

Job Summary

Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.

Responsibilities

• Implements and monitors patient care plans.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation of patient condition.
• Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Serves as a primary communicator among healthcare team members.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Demonstrates knowledge of patients' condition and is able to provide appropriate input to meet desired outcomes for the appropriate patient population.
• Participates in daily interdisciplinary patient rounds.
• Develops, implements and revises individualized plans of care.
• Participates in activities for professional growth and development outside of patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Current Connecticut RN license.
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association.
• Average of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Associate degree required, BSN preferred.
• Cardiovascular nursing experience required.
• Committed to passing orientation process full-time until sign off.

Pay

Salary range: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour.

Per diem Monday-Friday 7a-3:30p No weekends or holidays
