Registered Nurse (RN) Cardiac Post CTICU Full Time Days

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards.
• Maintains awareness of ethical standards of practice as defined by the ANA code of ethics.
• Affirms safety in practice and advances knowledge through communication with and utilization of resource persons and programs.
• Reports identified safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors.
• Knowledgeable about the patient population served.
• Supervises and directs the delegation of tasks to appropriate team members and collaborates with other patient care providers.
• Consistently sets and evaluates priorities through appropriate interventions with measurable outcomes.
• Utilizes the nursing process to integrate all aspects of the provision of care and individualizes the plan of care to address specific patient needs.

Requirements

• ASN or Nursing Diploma from an accredited school of nursing.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Preferred: Med./Surg. Telemetry and/or ICU nursing experience, CCRN certifications, and active New Jersey Registered Nurse License.
• Completion of TCAR – Trauma Care After Resuscitation every 2 years and Critical Care Course after 3 months.

Qualifications

• BLS upon hire and ACLS Certification within 6 months of start date.
• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License.

$47.85 - $67.04 per hour

Day shift, 35.3 hours, 7a-7p, Monday – Friday and Every Other Weekend
