Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and recognizing subtle clinical changes, using your judgment to intervene early and advocate for your patients
• Providing safe, evidence-based medications, treatments, and hands-on care grounded in strong clinical judgment
• Serving as a clinical partner to physicians and advanced providers, offering insight that supports timely, well-coordinated care decisions
• Providing clear, compassionate education to patients and families so they feel informed, supported, and prepared for the next phase of care
• Ensuring accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record to promote continuity and patient safety
• Contributing your voice during interdisciplinary rounds, helping drive seamless communication and smooth transitions of care
• Taking an active role in a highly collaborative team environment where shared accountability and teamwork directly impact outcomes

Qualifications

• Hold an active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is strongly preferred
• Prior patient care experience and comfort with electronic medical record systems (EMR) like EPIC
• Experience with the cardiac post-CTICU patient population

Pay

The pay range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey is $49.28 - $67.04 per hour.

Schedule

This role offers a full-time night schedule from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. and every other weekend is required. The schedule during the week will vary depending on department needs, allowing you to build strong patient relationships while maintaining balance.
