Sign-on Eligibility: One (1) year of applicable experience. Internal candidates and rehires within 12 months are not eligible.
Relocation Eligibility: Must live 50 miles outside of campus address. Rehires less than 12 months from separation date are not eligible.
Schedule
- Full time, 36 hours per week
- 3x12s (three 12-hour shifts)
- Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
- Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, care activities, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
Requirements
- Organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
- Ability to work as a team player within a unit
- Effective verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills
- EKG competency
- Fluency in English (reading, verbal, and written skills)
- Basic computer skills – ability to navigate Microsoft Windows-based programs
- Ability to use a high level of abstract reasoning to assess patients, evaluate interventions, and revise plans of care according to patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Associate’s of Nursing [Required]
- Bachelor’s of Nursing [Preferred]
- 1+ years of experience in an acute care hospital setting [Preferred]
- Registered Nurse (RN) license [Required]
- Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification [Required]
Pay
Pay range: $31.53 - $52.24 per hour
Eligible clinicians have the opportunity to earn salary increases of up to 20% through our Clinical Ladder Program based on experience, professional development, and achievement of advancement criteria. Participation is voluntary.
