About the role

Sentara is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Medicine Unit at Sentara Princess Anne Hospital in Virginia Beach. Generous sign-on bonus of up to $20,000 and moving allowance available for qualified candidates.

This full-time, night-shift position runs approximately 7 pm to 7 am. The 4D Unit primarily cares for cardiac patients with some general medicine patients. The team is collaborative and focused on delivering excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and admit patients
  • Conduct rounding checks
  • Administer medications
  • Communicate with family members
  • Provide overall patient care

Requirements

  • Active Virginia or Compact Multi-State RN license in good standing
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • RN diploma, ASN, BSN, or MSN from an accredited school
