About the role

Registered Nurse responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care within a collaborative healthcare team. The role focuses on high-acuity care in a Level I Trauma Center environment and may involve evening shifts.

Responsibilities

• Manage and delegate patient care activities
• Assess patient progress and prepare patients for discharge
• Establish strong relationships with physicians and support staff
• Demonstrate leadership, partnership, teaching, and supervision to ensure quality care and positive patient outcomes
• Provide and evaluate nursing care
• Monitor patient progress and coordinate with the healthcare team
• Participate in shared decision-making

Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited nursing program
• Active RN licensure in Michigan
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
